[A Leader is Someone Who Continuously Grows]
I am currently working and learning in Japan to gain deeper insights into leadership programs, so that I can effectively implement them in Korea.
One of my favorite quotes is from Professor Peter Senge of MIT Sloan School of Management:
"The cultivated self is a leader's greatest tool."
Just as this quote suggests, leadership begins with knowing and deeply understanding oneself.
A leader is not only someone who guides others but, more importantly, someone who has a clear understanding of who they are, what values they uphold, and what they strive for.
Only by truly understanding oneself can a leader make better decisions, drive meaningful change, and grow alongside their organization.
Moreover, continuous learning and embracing new challenges based on this self-awareness are essential qualities of a great leader.
Learning without self-awareness can lead to aimless growth, but a leader who deeply understands themselves can engage in more meaningful learning, cultivate maturity, and ultimately create greater transformation.
I believe that only leaders who continuously grow and develop themselves can bring about real change and inspire others.
